A recent report released by the Institute for Policy Studies shows just how much more it pays to be CEO; of the top 100 paid CEO’s, 25 of them reportedly earned more in 2010 than their companies paid in taxes!

Among the privelaged few were eBay CEO John Donahoe (pictured on the cover of this story), Verizon’s Dan Mead, Boeing’s Philip M. Condit, and General Electric head honcho Jeff Immelt.

It was also reported that the average gap between CEO and average U.S. worker pay increased from 263-to-1 in ’09 to 325-to-1 in 2010.

In the grand scheme of things I really don’t know how much of the pay they receive is proportional to the results they create; but rather than complain and make a huge issue over the situation, American’s would be much better off educating themselves to the point where they too can crate results for a company worthy of such high salaries.
